Fort Lauderdale Beach is a high-traffic resort strip along State Road A1A. Guests at the W Fort Lauderdale, Conrad, and The Atlantic Hotel use car service to avoid valet lines and parking shortages. The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, held each fall, brings additional corporate demand to the area. Our dispatch team coordinates with vetted local affiliates for curbside pickups along the beachfront.

We serve A1A, Bahia Mar, Fort Lauderdale Beach Park, and the major oceanfront hotels.

The beach strip runs from the Harbor Beach area north toward Sunrise Boulevard. Common pickup points include Bahia Mar Yachting Center, Fort Lauderdale Beach Park, the Elbo Room, and hotels between SE 17th Street and Sunrise Boulevard. The Elbo Room, a bar operating since 1938, is a well-known landmark near Las Olas and A1A. Drivers use A1A, Seabreeze Boulevard, and Sunrise Boulevard to navigate the barrier island. Event traffic around Beach Place and the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show adds complexity.

FLL is roughly 15 to 30 minutes away, MIA is 45 to 75 minutes, and PBI is 55 to 70 minutes.

The 17th Street Causeway and Las Olas Bridge connect the beach to the mainland. These routes back up during peak season, spring break, and boat show week. MIA requires I-95 south, which can slow near downtown Miami. PBI is a longer northbound run on I-95. Sunrise Boulevard is the main western exit and can back up near the Intracoastal bridge.

Sedan transfers from FLL to Fort Lauderdale Beach start at $130, with SUVs, sprinter vans, and hourly service available for larger groups.

Base pricing is for a standard sedan to one address. Weddings, yacht events, and corporate retreats often need SUVs or passenger vans. Late-night events and holiday weekends may require larger vehicles and longer minimums. We quote all-in pricing before confirmation so event planners can budget accurately.

Spring break crowds, A1A lane closures, and boat show traffic are the main limitations.

During March and major events, A1A becomes congested and some hotels restrict vehicle access. We may need to use secondary streets or meet clients at designated loading zones. Exact hotel tower names and room tower details help the driver find the right entrance.

Three bridges to the beach

Fort Lauderdale Beach sits on a barrier island between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic, reached by the Sunrise Boulevard, Las Olas Boulevard and 17th Street Causeway crossings. The Las Olas and 17th Street bridges open for boat traffic, so we choose the crossing based on where you are going and the time of day. Along A1A, pickups happen at hotel entrances and condominium drives rather than on the beach road itself, which keeps traffic moving and gets you to the car without crossing lanes.

What people book from the beach

  • Airport runs. FLL to Fort Lauderdale Beach is one of our most-booked routes.
  • Cruise transfers. Port Everglades is at the south end of the beach, over the 17th Street Causeway.
  • Evenings out. Dinner on Las Olas, shows downtown or a night in Hollywood.
  • Day trips. Hugh Taylor Birch State Park and the Bonnet House are on the beach side; Sawgrass Mills and Boca Raton are an hour or less away.

Busy seasons

Spring break and the winter season fill A1A, and the Boat Show closes parts of the Bahia Mar area each fall. During those weeks we add time to every beach pickup and recommend booking at least a day ahead. Point-to-point sedan fares start at $130 and SUV fares at $160; hourly service starts at $120 per hour with a three-hour minimum.
